Donate Designer Clothing

Most executives in the C-Suite are found wearing the finest suits, shirts, shoes, and accessories. It’s not to say that dressing in luxury clothing will rise you to the top of the corporate ladder, but it cannot be denied that dressing in such a way is a component of a business leader’s responsibility, and often times becomes a personal obsession.

Members of C-Suite Attire can relate to a scene in The Family Man where Nicolas Cage is standing inside the Zegna store and tries on a brand new suit. He’s caught saying, “It's an unbelievable thing. Wearing this suit actually makes me feel like a better person.” Fully understanding the impacts of truly luxurious and perfect fitting suits, we decided to start and grow a scholarship known for its philanthropy in Suiting the Next Generation.

We identify students who are driven to become future business leaders, and we reward them by providing a professional outfit which can be worn to their career fairs and interviews. Our first recipient of the scholarship is a student at the University of Minnesota. If you like this cause and want to get involved, feel free to donate designer clothing. Together, we can make a difference.

The original concept was developed when one of our founders was attending a Career Fair and noticed the amount of students who appeared to have just taken out a suit from their parent’s closet. He immediately realized that those students were at an immediate disadvantage when trying to impress a recruiter. Since the cost of a well-fitting garment can be a large expense, it is understandable that a lot of college students opt to spend their money on rent and other “necessities” instead of a new outfit. Our team wants to help ease the financial burden for students, and help those who demonstrate great promise and need

I am thrilled to have been the first winner of this scholarship. I wore the suit I won to my interview with the Federal Reserve.
